Destination Weddings
So I have been blessed to have shoot a few DW's and had an incredible time. I love working with the intimate group of friends and family. There is a special vibe with those groups. That combined with the exotic location makes for a wonderful wedding.
That being said as I just returned from a family vacation in Mexico myself I really want to work harder on booking more destination weddings, specifically in the Riviera Maya area of Mexico.
A great bonus for any DW bride and groom taking me down is that you will not have the expense of me staying at the resort ( although a few will require that ). I will be happy to stay at the family home we have there. I am pretty familiar with the area and have found a handful of great shooting locations too.
Here is a link to one of the more popular DW sites.
Sorry for the blogging delay, quite a busy month as the weddings are wrapping up. Nicole and Brian were definitely one of the sweetest couples of all time. Congratulations you two!
Today's Bridal Show this Sunday
I will be at the Today's Bride Show at the Sheraton in Cuyahoga Falls this Sunday. If anyone is still looking to book their photographer or other vendors this will be a great opportunity to get a lot of work done in one afternoon. I will have a suite on the second floor #223. Come hang out with me and talk about your wedding in the Grooms Are People Too Lounge. Stop by the studio at 16 Clinton St. in Hudson if you need tickets.
As one of the winning couples of the Genevieve Nisly's Free Wedding Photography contest, Maureen and Adam won the services of not only me but Tom Forrest as well. This couple was on fire with the contests and I think won a total of four different wedding contest, (hey guys wanna do a powerball pool?) Our good friend Heidi of Heidzilla kept the day running smoothly as usual. We hope you love you photographs and congratulations!!!!
Sorry I am a bit behind on the blogging. It has been a busy week with the studio opening this past Thursday. Anyway on the the great wedding from last Saturday. I love shooting at St. Anns in Cleveland Hts., it is such a large and open church and very beautiful as well. Although the weather did not play nice we were able to get a series of images at the art museum and then headed over to Tower City. The reception at Sammy's in Legacy Village was just as wonderful. A special thank you to Amy Cameron for coming along to help and console me when my D3 stopped working due to the downpour I got caught in. The camera is back up and working fine :)
What a wonderful location Kayleigh's mother found for the wedding at the Zang House in Alliance, Ohio. The grounds had a great Town and Country feel to them which made it a great site for pictures. Tons of details, incredible floral and special touches added to the ambiance of the event. The reception rocked out with the band Souled Out.
