Energy, Fun and Excitment. This was one fun couple. We did three location shoots between the ceremony and reception. And the fun was just getting started a the reception. Congratulations!
I love this couple! Today we had a great e-session and I am looking forward to the wedding. I feel very lucky to be shooting Carrie and Vince seeing as how during our meeting I had to leave in the middle of the meeting to find Sally, the family dog. They are a very laid back couple. BTW thanks for the fountain shots!
Annie was my destination wedding bride from St. Thomas. Her and Aaron are expecting very soon. Congratulations!
A few favorites from this mornings e-session. I caught up with Holly and Mike at the Holden Arboretum in Kirtland, Ohio.
Julie and Jay were in from Chicago, along with Jimmy, the dog. We had not meet previously, so I thought it would be a good idea to get together before the wedding.
Jay is a skater and now works for Vans. I asked if he had a board, and what would you know, he did. So off the the local skate park for a quick e-session. Tom Feisel of Newage Foto came along as well. Both of our images are shown.
Jay was doing a few tricks for us on the ramp when the board slipped out and found the front of Tom's camera, no damage other than a broken lens shade.
I am looking foward to the wedding. Julie and Jay are an amazingly laid back couple.
I can't say enough about what an amazing experience this has been. We have met so many great people.
John Michael Cooper and his wife Dalisa are not only amazing photographers but are also very grounded people who are so much fun to just sit and chat with.
Again thanks to JC Carley for shooting these and Mark Eric for shooting video which I will try to get up soon.
Thanks!
So during the shoot on Tuesday with Tina Wilson, Andrew was a bit distracted with the amusement park on the boardwalk. Tonight he got his chance.
Trash the Dress Atlantic City
Thanks to Lisa our bride for this incredible session. Her willingness and fun attitude made this a great shoot.
I will be adding a TTD portfolio to the site as I have more opportunities. Kim? Dana? Stefanie? Any takers?
I also wanted to add this thought. I am sure there are many "ideas" about what a TTD Session is about and what can happen. For me this is not about destroying a beautiful wedding dress. I would not ask you or encourage the bride to do anything they may regret.
DWFU 3 from A.C.
So the plan was to have the Bebbs shoot us on Wednesday, but sadly they had to pull out due to a family issue. Our best wishes and prayers are with them.
In their place Cliff Mautner will be stepping in. We are equally excited for this shoot.
This morning Tina Wilson took Emma and Andrew out for shoot on the boardwalk. I think she was able to get some good stuff but like any 4 year old, Andrew was quite fixated on the rides especially one he named "The Slide 3000". So we promised him a ride and we will be trying a family shoot later this afternoon.
Tonight I will be part of the Trash the Dress photo shoot. This will be a great opportunity to get some different bridal portraits. We have brides up for just about anything so I am looking forward to it. I'll be posting some of my stuff later.

Well we are already married [almost 8 years now], but this week we will be modeling as bride and groom for some of the industries top photographers. We are headed to Atlantic City for a week long series of seminars. Check out the fabulous artists who will be doing the shooting John Michael Cooper and The Bebbs.
This will be a great experience is so many way, but I am very interested to get the feeling of being on the other side of the camera. I hope to get some great ideas for helping my couples relax in front of the camera.
There will also be a trash the dress session with some local recent brides. Quite possibly Jenelle and I will be having our own trash the dress session as well.
Check back through out the week for pictures and updates.
Congratulations to the couple on their lucky day, I enjoyed seeing your day unfold and felt blessed to be allowed to capture it. Have a great honeymoon and I look forward to seeing you when you get back.
Here are a few highlights.
Lucky 7's
So today is probably the biggest wedding date of the century! I have a great one lined up tonight and I am really looking forward to it. We will be shooting the photobooth again so check back soon to see some highlights.
Best wishes and blessing to all the couples tying the knot today.
