grooms are people too

You know, I have heard so many people say that the details make the wedding but I have come to realize that the people are what really make the wedding special. I had the pleasure of spending this past weekend with some of kindest, most generous people I have ever met !

Now, don't get me wrong, the details were amazing. The guests were treated to beautiful accomodations at the Geneva Lodge. Thanks for the room and the wine basket guys...the view was beautiful! The wedding was held at the South River Winery and the reception was at Ferrante's Winery.

As great as all of that was, what I was most taken with was the genuine kindness of the bride and groom and their family. I truly feel blessed to have met them and I promise that Jenelle and I will be making a trip to Florida for a ride in Bear's helicopter. Thanks so much for everything Jennifer and Christophe!

With the beautiful weather I wanted to take advantage of the great natural light both inside and outside.

They are a pretty cool couple, fun and laid back and not afraid to be a little silly. During the wedding day we're looking for a carnival to shoot at inbetween the ceremony and reception. Maybe get some cotton candy a quick ride and just take in all the energy and color of the carnival. Hey maybe Rocco will even win a big teddybear for Marybeth.

This evening we took advantage of the great weather and shoot the e-session at Edgewater Park. It was also the location where Rocco proposed.

Each of the images got a little extra loving in Photoshop, just to give a little taste of what an image can become.

Again an incredible day, the weather could not have been better. The wedding was beautiful and the reception was held at the home of the brides parents with an awesome lighting display. I do not typically cover so many rehearsals, but the last two couples have come in from out of town. I find it to be a good way to connect with them before the wedding day. This is also a great time to get some great family shots. Tonights party was held at the Walden Country Inn and Spa in Aurora.

Christine and Kenny had a beautiful day for a wedding. The reception was held at Cleveland Botanical Gardens. The flowers were designed by Vase to Vase. A very cool party was held a Vivo for the couple.

Check out the amazing reception hall below. The reception was held at the beautiful Glenmoor Country Club. Design of the hall was done by Alina. Also a thanks to A-1 Mr. Limo for coming through in a pinch. The original limo service had the AC go out, Larry showed up in a flash with a replacement limo for a great ride to the reception.
