Fun in the Sun
So tomorrow I am headed off to Punta Cana for my first wedding of the 2008 season, not a bad way to start, huh?
I have a great couple to shoot and I am looking forward to getting out of this Cleveland weather for a few days.
We have the wedding on Thursday and they have said their up for anything I want to do otherwise, so maybe a hot little day after session or something. I am totally open to the experience and getting to shoot in such a different location. I'm sure they will have scouted some great locations as they are already there.

In June I will be traveling to Turkey for another wedding, so very excited! I also just found out that I will have a nice 12 hour layover in Paris. Having never been to Europe, I am going to make the very most of my down time checking out Paris and Istanbul. The wedding itself will be held in a castle on the coast of the Aegean Sea in Cesme.

So I'm not really into popularity contests, but what the heck I'll play.
MyFox Hot List is holding a Best Of Contest.
It's an opportunity to showcase some great vendors. I also see it as a chance to elevate the public's awareness to what's going on with wedding photography.
I'm not putting my work above anyone else, I'm pointing out it's just different. Different because I'm shooting your wedding, you get my unique perspective of your day.
I also want you to see the type of photography you can have. You don't have be stuck with "your mother's" wedding photographer. You can have your wedding day captured in a fun, relaxed and real way. Your images do not need to look so typical and forced. There are many common elements to each wedding, but it's the people who make every wedding different.

Nicole + Jesse
This morning I caught up with a couple who I will be shooting in May. We really haven't had a lot of opportunities to get the e-session in, so today was kind of a "make it happen" day. Even though it was pretty dreary out, Nicole and Jesse lit everything up beautifully! They are very laid back and super comfortable with each other.
I'm looking forward to their wedding! The reception will be at Atwood Lake Resort which should provide a beautiful spring backdrop.

No this has nothing to do with last weeks primary. I'm talking about voting your me on the Fox Hot List. Let's have some fun with this, I will even share the prize with everyone (if there were a prize). But you can say "Hey I voted for Andrew, he's our guy" And if I have some time I will work on solving the problems of the world, after I edit your weddings.
On a more serious note.
Due to a bride moving her date, which I am happy that I was open for, I now have the ever so popular date of June 21st now open. So if you or someone you know is still looking for a photographer for June 21st let me know.
