Second Shooting Rocks

So every once in awhile I have an opening to second shoot for a friend. These are great opportunities to explore creatively a bit more. Since I am not the lead shooter I can take more chances to get some cool images. The opportunity also benefits me to see another pro at work. Maybe there will be a technique or trick I can pick up on. I love the fact that within my industry I am surrounded by so many wonderfully talented photographers who are willing to share. Recently I shot with Michelle Turner from Maine. We met up in Pittsburg for a beautiful wedding and reception at the Carnegie Museum. I hope to get to shoot with Michelle again in the future, especially since she does a lot of destination weddings!

Speaking of creative opportunities, keep watching the blog, in July I will be having quite the opportunity. All I will say for now is check out, John Michael Cooper and The Bebbs.

This afternoon Britany and Justin's outdoor wedding was beautiful. Even though it rained, it really did'nt phase them at all, they went forward with their plans and had a beautiful wedding. the weather definately added something to the mood and fun to the wedding.

Site gets a make over

The amazing Big Folio team have done it again. Just as I am trying to clean up my site and work on my logo, they went and made some killer upgrades to my template. This has saved me a lot of work. You should find the new site a bit easier to navigate as well as find the text loads and reads easier. I can not thank these guys enough. If you are a photgrapher in need of a site, you would really be doing yourself a favor to check them out.

There's a link to the right for thier blog.

Thank you so much to the Big Folio team and best wishes on your move.

Tom and Meredith

I will be shooting this hot little couple's wedding this September. Tom is another local wedding photographer. Not only did they get me for their e-session images, I brought along 7 of my other friends to shoot the session. Afterwards we all went back to my house and had a DWF get together. It was a great time for other shooters to catch up before the season kicks into high gear.

Kim's B-Session

About a year ago I shoot the wedding of Kim and Frank. We really connected beyond the typical client and photographer relationship. For christmas Frank got Kim a photo session and we schedule the shoot for their anniversary weekend. We had a great time and got to do some different stuff than normal. Thanks for having me there again guys. Keep watching the next shoot is going to be of the two of them on their Harleys.
