I can't say how very wonderful this wedding was. Kristen and Ed were so laid back and relaxed and ready to have some fun. I was able to get a lot of the pictures done prior to the ceremony. Although it was not planned I was able to have Ed sneak up behind Kristen during the creative session and captured her surprise. Have a great time in Cancun!
My favorite DJ in whole world Scott Jones from Jerry Bruno Productions did a great job as usual and kept the party going.
Congratulations to Alina and Daniel and have a great trip back to England.
This is my couple for next October. Today we met up at Southriver Vineyard in Geneva. A few glasses of wine and a stroll through the vineyard then off to the covered bridge.
Not to be out done by Emma's rock up the nose incident... tonight Andrew decided to break into his piggy bank. In the process he got a a nice gash on his ring finger. He was caught red handed, literally. A quick trip to the ER and a few stitches later he is all good. Pictures taken with the iPhone, sorry for the quality.
Updated with some real pictures.
Airport security, 230 debutantes and Huricane Hannha
This weekend I traveled down to Raleigh, NC to help shoot a very large debutante ball. While waiting at the gate I found that I had left my Leatherman multi-tool in my bag. The thing was right in an outside pocket on top of the bag. I can't believe the x-ray machine missed it. I felt so bad. Every thing worked out fine, thanks to a very smart and cool gate agent.
The ball was very cool, much larger than the one I help with here in Akron. Brian and Arthur are some great guys and I love to work with them. The picture below is a quick grab I got of one debs workin' her best Marilyn pose over the air vent.
Lastly there was a little concern about Hannah. Other than some rain and wind, she left us alone. I was able to make my flight and get back home.
Last night I enjoyed a wonderful evening e-session with Christy and Mauricio down on East 4th in Cleveland. Christy works and lives in the area so it was really laid back and casual. We briefly got rained out and headed back to their apartment for a bit. I think I got some of my favorite shots there. After the rain it was back out on the street. I will be shooting their wedding in mid October, I can't wait.
Well summer is over and it's back to school for the kids. I can't believe how fast it went.
In a short seven weeks I will get to shoot Hannah and Michael's wedding. Today we headed out for their e-session. I was trilled that they were up for a little off the trial hike to get a good angle on the waterfall.
