grooms are people too

Although most of my photography business is shooting weddings, I occasionally take on other types of projects. I like shooting subjects that are different than the norm for me. The opportunity helps me grow as a photographer by pushing my skills.

I still have no idea who put me in touch with Dragonfly, but I am so blessed to have had an opportunity to work on such a rewarding project. Most of these kids have either never had school pictures or have had horrible experiences trying.

We prepare for the shoot by creating a social story and on the day of the shoot the kids knew exactly who I was and why I was there. The shoot went terrific. I hope go back again to watch as these kids grow.
